I'm Max, owner of MaxCo Services. I'm a lifelong Chicagoan, and I grew up around a neighborhood hardware store. Fixing things and helping people has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
I built MaxCo the old-fashioned way — by doing good work, treating people fairly, and earning their trust. Most of my business has come from word of mouth, and I take that seriously.
When you call MaxCo, you're not dealing with a big franchise or a sales department. You're dealing with me.
I'll show up, figure out what's going on with your appliance, explain your options, and give you my honest opinion about whether it's worth fixing.

I'm also a full-time single parent, so my days run around school drop-offs and pickups. That's why I take scheduling seriously. I'd rather be upfront about when I can get to you than overpromise.
When I'm in your home, I treat it, and you, the way I'd want someone to treat my own family.
And if you've got a dog or cat, don't worry. I'm an animal lover. Half the time, I think the family pets are happier to see me than the homeowners.

Before you book
Is it worth fixing an older appliance?
Often, yes. I look at what actually failed, how much the repair costs, and what replacing the appliance would mean. Sometimes repairing an older, well-built machine is the better choice.
Do you work on stacked laundry units?
Yes. I've worked on stacked units and laundry centers, including machines in Chicago condos. Let me know your model and how accessible the unit is.
Can you come today?
Sometimes. I'm a one-person business, so scheduling depends on where I'm working and the appointments already on the calendar.
