Refrigerator Repair in Chicago
Not cooling, freezing up, leaking, or making a new noise? I’m Max, and I handle appliance repairs myself across Rogers Park, the North Side, and nearby communities.
What's going wrong?
Not cooling, freezing up, leaking, or making a new noise? Tell me when it started, the brand and model, and anything unusual you’ve noticed. That gives me a better place to start when I come out.

How I approach a repair
I’ll start by checking what the appliance is actually doing, rather than guessing which part it needs.
I'll inspect the problem, talk through repair costs, and tell you if I think replacing the machine makes more sense. I don't want you spending money on a repair that isn't worth doing.
What I don’t do
I don’t do sealed-system work: compressors, refrigerant leaks, or recharging. If that turns out to be the problem, I’ll tell you straight away so you can call someone who does.
What does refrigerator repair cost?
Every job is different. It's a $99 trip fee for me to come out. Parts and certain job types can change the total. I'll explain costs before you authorize the work.
Where I repair them
I work throughout Rogers Park, Edgewater, Andersonville, Evanston, Skokie, and nearby North Side neighborhoods. See my service area.
Have a question first?
Call me with the model number and the symptoms. If something is unlikely to make sense financially, I'd rather talk it through with you.
